The dominant features of the village of Markušovce are the Dardanelles Manor and summer house located in a French park with three terraced terraces. The mansion was built in the middle of the 17th century in the Renaissance style and had the role of a fortress. It was later modified into a Rococo stately home. Today it is home to a permanent exhibition of historical furniture and interior accessories representing the period of its existence.
Nearby is the Dardanelle summer house, which, since its construction in the 18th century, has served a social and representative function. Since 1983, it has been home to a permanent exhibition of keyboard musical instruments focused on domestic producers. The exhibition is the only one of its kind in Slovakia. Part of the summer house is a social hall with fresco paintings with scenes from Greek mythology, which is the venue for various cultural, educational and educational activities, as well as classical music concerts.
