Kojšovská hoľa (1246 m.a.s.l.) is a popular tourist destination. It is located between the villages of Kojšov, Opátka, Zlatá Idka, Vyšný Medzev and Prakovce. In the past, a sought-after ski resort was located here, which has been out of operation for several years. Despite this, the location is very popular with tourists, cyclists and, in the winter, cross-country skiers and ski alpinists.
There is a working weather station near the top, and from the top itself, in good weather, there are panoramic views of the nearby region, but also of more distant locations. Therefore, it is not an exception to see the High and Low Tatras, or to Hungary and Ukraine. There are countless tourist routes to get here, so you just have to choose the best one according to your preferences.
