Košice Castle is an almost forgotten building. It hardly appears in medieval sources or is mentioned only indirectly. It is estimated that it could have been one of the biggest in all of Hungary, even bigger than Spišský. However, all these are just guesses and the building on Hradová hill can be described as a mysterious castle that hides information about its origin, existence or role.

Currently, the ruins have an information center and a photo gallery from archaeological works, a display of clothing in the Middle Ages, a workshop for the production of wooden products and a blacksmith’s forge. Various cultural events are regularly held in this location. The castle ruins are located near the observation tower and are very easily accessible by public transport or by car.
