The natural salt water inhalatorium is an unusual tourist attraction. It is located in the northernmost village of Slovakia, Oravská Polhora. Its creation was made possible by the nearby springs of salt water under Baba hora. The principle of the inhaler consists in the circulation of salt water, its free fall and the flow of air through the thorn reeds, thanks to which the water evaporates.

The microclimate of the gazebo is very similar to that of the sea. When you stand by the gazebo, you will feel the humid salty air, which has beneficial health effects and is still used today. The gazebo is built on the site of a former spa from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, where respiratory diseases, skin problems, tuberculosis and swellings were treated.
