Plačlivé Hill, often also known as Plačlivo, is located in the Western Tatras between Baníků and Ostrý Roháč hills. It is characterized by a craggy and sharp peak that protrudes significantly into the surroundings. In the past, the peak was also called Plačlivý Roháč, which together with other Roháč led to the naming of the entire Western Tatras region.

Plačlivé is the crossroads of several tourist routes. From its top, tourists can see landmarks such as Ostrý Roháč, Volovec, Roháčská plesa or the Smutná dolina. If the weather is good, you can also see the Orava Dam and Liptovská Mara. The climb to the top is a moderately demanding hike with a high elevation gain. The most popular ascent route is the route from the mouth of the Žiarská dolina.
