Roháčská plesa

Roháčská plesa consists of 6 lakes of glacial origin. The interesting thing is that they are located much lower than the tares in the High Tatras. The largest of them has a depth of 7 meters and an area of 2.22 hectares. After climbing to the balls, tourists can see many panoramic views.

It is possible to get to the balls from different directions, the most common choice is the exit from the Roháče – Spálená resort or from the other side from Spálená dolina. The hiking trail is passable in both directions. Some of the sidewalks are seasonally closed and are thus only available in the period 15.6. – 1.11. The route to the balls is moderately demanding, but visitors can manage it even with children.
