Sokolia dolina is the steepest gorge of the Slovak Paradise formed by deep and narrow rocky valleys of streams with many cascades. Passage through the gorge is ensured by numerous ladders, stepladders, chains, but also bridges, which will trouble even experienced tourists. It is not so surprising that one of the many attributes of the valley is the wildest.
The basic route leading through the Sokolá dolina is one-way and is part of the state nature reserve Kyseľ. For this reason, crossing is only possible on marked paths. However, they reveal rich natural beauty and the Závojový waterfall, which is the largest in the Slovak Paradise and the second largest in Slovakia. However, it is not the only one in the valley and it is joined by Bočný, Skalný and Vyšný vodopád, which are much smaller.
