The Forestry and Timber Museum

The Forestry and Timber Museum is located in the center of Zvolen in the premises of old town houses, which are a national cultural monument. Until 1992, the museum was devoted mainly to the ethnographic issues of the Zvolen region. After obtaining the forestry and woodworking collection from the Museum in St. Anton, he began to focus on the issue of forestry and woodworking throughout Slovakia.

The museum has more than 51 thousand objects in its collections. Some of them can be seen in permanent exhibitions, which include:

The Ostrolúck family and Ľudovít Štúr (dedicates to the Ostrolúck family and the relationship of Ľudovít Štúr to the family)
