In the immediate vicinity of the Orava Castle, there is an Archeoskanzen – a medieval village that is the only one of its kind in Slovakia. Visitors will move to the period of the early Middle Ages, i.e. the period of Great Moravia. Period buildings and craftsmen can be seen here. Tourists will thus easily get an idea of ​​the life of our ancestors more than 1000 years ago.

Here, children and adults alike can try traditional crafts, take a ride on a ladder wagon, and archery is undoubtedly worth a try. The regular program also includes a breathtaking performance by falconers performing in period costumes.
