The Skorušina observation tower can be proud of the title of the highest observation tower in Slovakia. It is located in the Skorušin Hills at an altitude of 1,313 m.a.s.l. and its steel structure rises to a height of 14 meters. From the top, tourists can enjoy breathtaking views of the Roháčů Ridge, Velký Rozsutec, the Orava Reservoir, the Orava Beskydy Mountains or Babí Hora.
The observation tower can be reached by marked walkways from several directions, the most common starting points are Vitanová, Trstená or Brezovica. From all directions, this is an undemanding hike suitable for children as well. On the way from Brezovice, you can come across the older lookout tower Ostrý vrch. The ascent from all directions takes approximately 2 hours.
