The West Slovak Museum

The West Slovak Museum is a regional ethnographic museum providing museum activities in the Trnava region, but it also fulfills tasks of a supra-regional nature. In addition, it carries out methodical coordination and control activities for museums and owners of objects of museum value in the Trnava region. Its creation dates back to 1954.

The West Slovak Museum is located in the building of the former Clarist monastery and offers several permanent exhibitions, such as archeology, the history of book culture, the history of brickmaking, the history of campanology, the personality of Mikuláš Schneider Trnavský, sports personalities of the Trnava Region and many other exhibitions mapping the history of the Trnava Region.
